Regulatory status
Cervo Ltd is not authorised or registered by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as a payment institution, e-money institution or in any other regulated capacity. Cervo does not hold an FCA authorisation or registration number.
Cervo is not a member of Visa, Mastercard or any other card scheme.
Cervo introduces UK businesses to our regulated payment provider and provides the application, the merchant portal and support. Our payment provider is responsible for processing payments, card scheme membership and its own regulatory compliance.
Merchant funds
Cervo does not hold, receive or safeguard merchant funds at any stage. Settlement of card payments is the responsibility of our regulated payment provider under the terms between you and it.
Who approves your account
Our regulated payment provider makes the final decision on whether to accept a business, after its own checks. Account approval is subject to its checks and its terms.
